Rankin

Rankin works with lots of celebrities such as: Kate Moss, Madona, Lily Allen, Lindsey Lohan and many other. This one of Mary Kate stood out to me becuase of the contrast in the dark and bright colours. The bacground looks like a dark, dirty alley way or street at night which makes her look vunerable. It makes me think 'why is this glamorous young woman sat in a dark, dindgy street'?

David La Chapelle

La Chapelles photographs are abstract and he uses bright colours to catch the audiences eye. He puts his models in various postions and imaginative outfits.

I chose this picture because the hair and make up are imaginative and crazy. The orange hair clashes with he calm blue background and makes it stand out. The expressions on their faces looked shocked and the other looks happy and looks forfilled.
