This is just a random edit, I scanned my coat and layered them, then i made my face black and white my using threshold.

Roy Lichtenstein

This is my own take on a Lichtenstein inspired pop art piece.

To do achieve this I...

scanned a picture of drawn dots, once they scanned I pasted the picture on top of my chosen photograph. I then played about with the opacity of the dots so you could still see my face underneath. I enlarged the dots to create a background relating to the 'dot' theme. I then changed the colour using 'hue/saturation' until i was happy with the outcome. 

If i were to re-do this again i would make the dots do controlled and cut them to fit around the face perfectly.

My version of an Andy Warhol picture..

For this effect I opened the photograph on photoshop, then i clicked image and posterize, i then went on image colour balance and change the strongness and brightness of the colours until i was happy with how it looked. 

This is one of Andy Warhol's most famous pieces of Marylin Monroe. Andy Warhol is in the Pop Art movement along with Roy Lichtenstein and many others.

This is another example of my work but i stuck to more subtle tones.

This is my symmetrical face, i highlighted one half and copied it then deleted the other half, flipped the highlighted half and stuck them together. I think it look really strange. If i were to do it again i might try and blend the line through the middle of the face more to make it look more like one face instead of two different bits stuck together. 

My take on a Picasso style self portrait

This is the original copy of the picture which inspired me to do my own, i used a fairly simple self portrait and changed it into a abstract Picasso look a like. I've tried to match the colours I use with the colours he uses. The only thing im missing is the thick black lines which would have given it a more finished effect. 

This is my take on Picasso's self portrait. My favourite bit of this picture is the enlarged eye and the drematic background.

My Self Portrait in Gerhard Richter's Style

This is one of my self portraits which I then layered another over the top and made it transparent. I then added a picture of my hair (which i got by scanning my hair) I then also layered that on top to create the look of texture, I think it works really well. If I were to do this again I would think about using different colours and maybe use colour or threshhold in the back ground to give the picture a sense of depth. I did this on photoshop which made it look more professional.
